Who I am

That is a Question I ask myself often enough. Fact is, that I was born on the 05/26/1972 in Wolgast (formerly GDR). My parents liked to get a girl (Susanne), but therefore was anything too much on me. Because You can't exchange some things or give it back, they need to live with that.

What I like

  • First of all: My wife!!!
  • Books: William Gibson's "Neuromancer"-Trilogy, J.R.R.Tolkien's "Lord of the rings"-Trilogy, Marion Zimmer-Bradley's Avalon-Trilogy
  • Films: "Contact", "Stargate", "Lord of the rings"
  • To eat: everything with noodles, filled paprika pods (as my ma does them;))

    What I don't like

  • People, who don't tell me, what they think and then talk underhand about me
  • To eat: Fish or seafood, I find them much more beautiful under water, then on my plate and I don't like the fishbones...

    My hobbies / leisure time

  • Electronics / Computer - Although I have to do at work with them, I can't let them at home (much to the resentment of my wife)
  • Ham radio - it is become more less in the last time and nearly I don't know how to use the transceiver any more, I'm a licensed radio amateur and with the call DG0NF active in packet radio.
  • IRC - In the hall of residence, where I had the last 2.5 years before I move, my computer permanent connected to the internet, I was nearly 24 hours per day and that 7 days a week under the nicknames "PegasusDD" and later "Pegasus" in the chat (#Dresden, #Berlin u.a.). Today You can find me there only every quarter of a year, either as "PegasusDD" or as "MieseKazz". I learned to know many people because of this media, although the people on the channels are not more the same as in the year 1995.

    Pegasus

  • Scuba diving - Yes, I go diving again. I did in june 2001 my PADI OWD and in february 2002 my AOWD. In summer I'm therefore on many weekends on a puddle anywhere and try to rise the count of my dives in my log. Additionally I'm the member of a Dresden scuba dive club.
  • Hiking / Climbing - was I often during my study, but after that I hadn't enough time.

    I listed here only the people with own home pages. The order is randomized and does not reflect, how much I like somebody. If there is somebody with an own page, I missed in this list, please send me an e-mail.

  • Christian Klingner - he works at the moment in San Jose (Califorien) at Transmeta. He is one of my oldest friends; I know him since kindergarten and he has studied in Dresden too. Unfortunately we don't see us very less and e-mail writing or telephone calls are also very less. He is a ham radio amateur too, but he is not active at the moment...
  • Thomas Fichte (DG1RTF) - the first ham radio amateur, I learned to know in Dresden. He has seen much of the world and now he is no longer single ;)
  • Swen "Sybok" Kretschmar - There! He is to blame! Blame on what? On the fact, that I get to know my wife. In the past, he was very often on th IRC too, but now he tries to finish his study (food chemistry). In the meantime he is married.
